Tropicana Brands Group UK is now looking for a highly qualified Away from Home (AFH) Controller to join our team. The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery and execution of the UK AFH strategy, the new business pipeline, current AFH customer strategies and the annual operating plan for the channel.
Your Next Pour - The Opportunity:
- Personal ownership & accountability for our largest growth channel in Europe – UK AFH
- Leadership of the AFH National Account Team (2 heads)
- Customer responsibilities across AFH Route To Market, Contract Catering, Travel & New Business
- Lead, define & execute the UK AFH strategy in partnership with the category, shopper, marketing and finance teams to reach the businesses growth ambition through new business acquisition
- Lead and influence senior internal stakeholders to define the clear 'where to play' and 'how to win' strategic choices within the AFH channel and determine what needs to be true to win
- Drive customer engagement and the trading relationships, executing deep contact strategies to integrate as a key strategic partner
- Lead Top-to-top (T2T) agenda and advantaged wiring across customer base
- Work with European colleagues to leverage scale to define and execute new AFH opportunities across Europe
- Responsible for building and executing the AFH AOP, to deliver the annual sales revenue plan, delivering against external JBPs for current AFH customers
- Ownership for defining and delivering the 'AFH scorecard' and own tracking and course correction with customers as required
- Utilise trade investment efficiently through effective negotiation and by developing a suitable strategy that maximises ROI and efficiency
- Owns account forecasting, working alongside Finance & Demand Planning (Base, NPD, Promotional forecasting and financial robustness)
- Manage the robust administration and accounting of sales investments, invoice validation and deduction and claims management
- Manage the account internal and external data and systems e.g. forecasting and loading, promotional planning, tracking and reporting, promotional submissions, EPOS tracking, etc
This list covers the main duties you will undertake but other duties will be required and added to as required to meet project and business needs. Flexibility to support the business is essential to the role.

- Experience working in the AFH channel within FMCG
- Thought leadership to build a winning strategy & deliver flawless execution
- Proven ability to work and collaborate cross functionally to unlock results for the channel
- Proven cross-functional leadership ability
- Proven capability in winning new business
- Strong results orientation, track record of hitting and exceeding targets
- Influencing skills – demonstration of ability to influence both internal and external agenda at a senior level
- Commercial Acumen – Strong commercial and analytical ability required to manage both the operational and strategic agenda
