TBC WM Team is looking for Credit Team Lead.
The Credit Team Leader in the WM Business Development Unit is responsible for leading and managing the credit analyst team, ensuring effective credit risk assessment and decision-making for the Wealth Management segment.
The role includes developing and implementing credit risk methodologies, enhancing analytical tools and workflows, supporting professional development of team members, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Job Description
- Lead the team of credit analysts, including planning, monitoring, and evaluating their activities.
- Support the professional development of team members, including business-related training and learning sessions.
- Develop and implement credit risk analysis methodologies for the WM segment.
- Design and enhance analytical models, tools, and workflows.
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and share credit decisions.
- Define the target segments acceptable for the bank and initiate improvements in credit terms.
- Assess business initiatives from a risk perspective.
- Monitor and analyze the impact of statistical models on the credit process.
- Collaborate with tribes for effective management of the retail portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in credit analysis or risk management.
- Proven track record in leading teams and delivering high-quality credit assessments.
- Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks, banking operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical/reporting tools.
- Excellent command of English and Georgian (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with wealth management products and investment solutions.
- Experience in process optimization and workflow management is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
