This role works in close partnership with the Security & Network Architect within the Enterprise Solutions & Architecture function to ensure all network designs and changes align with enterprise architecture, security policies, and governance standards.

  • Oversee the work of outsourced network service providers to ensure adherence to architectural standards, SLAs, and governance frameworks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to design and implement innovative network solutions that align with enterprise goals.
  • Partner with the Security & Network Architect to review designs, contribute to architectural governance, and align with network and security roadmaps.
  • Participate in capacity planning, availability improvements, lifecycle upgrades, and change control activities.
  • Support site surveys, hardware deployment (rack/stack), and physical configuration of networking equipment when required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including network topologies, designs, configuration standards, and operational handover materials.
  • Contribute to security compliance, risk assessments, and network-related change planning.
  • Work closely with the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team to ensure secure, resilient integration between on-premises, cloud, and hybrid network environments.

Skills and Experience

  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of enterprise networking including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, routing (BGP, EIGRP), switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless, and unified communications.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, Cisco wireless networks, and next-generation firewalls including Palo Alto and FortiGate.
