Marine Engineer

Are you an experienced marine engineer looking to work in the stunning waters of Southern Tasmania? We're seeking a skilled and safety-focused engineer to join our harvest vessel team based out of Dover, that works across our sites in Southeast Tasmania.

About the Role

As the engineer, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems onboard our harvest vessel. You'll work closely with the Skipper and crew to ensure smooth daily operations during harvest runs.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum MED 2 (Marine Engine Driver Grade 2) – Essential
  • MED 1 – Highly desirable
  • Restricted Electrical Ticket – Bonus
  • Proven experience in marine engineering, preferably in commercial or aquaculture operations
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence
