Senior Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist

Position Overview: The Senior Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the talent acquisition operations function within an organization. This position focuses on managing and enhancing the operational aspects of the talent acquisition process, implementing strategic initiatives, and providing guidance to a team of Talent Acquisition Operations Specialists. The senior specialist collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation in the talent acquisition function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Background checks, hiring and onboarding: Responsible for the management, administration and successful completion of background checks, hiring and onboarding across multiple clients within required SLA's.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve talent acquisition processes and workflows, implementing best practices and industry benchmarks. Identify areas for efficiency gains, streamline operations, and standardize processes across the organization.
  • Technology Management: Oversee the implementation, administration, and optimization of talent acquisition systems, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing platforms, and other relevant technologies. Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance the recruitment process.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Establish and track key recruitment metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Develop reports and dashboards to communicate recruitment performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the talent acquisition process. Collaborate with legal and HR teams to implement and update policies, procedures, and practices to meet compliance requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, such as job boards, recruitment agencies, background check providers, and other talent acquisition service providers.
  • Candidate Experience: Lead initiatives to enhance the candidate experience and employer brand. Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to ensure a positive candidate journey, from application to onboarding, by implementing strategies for effective communication, personalized interactions, and timely feedback.
  • Training and Development: Develop training programs and resources to educate recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders on talent acquisition processes, tools, and best practices. Provide coaching and support to ensure adoption of standardized processes and continuous professional development.
  • Project Management: Lead strategic talent acquisition projects, such as employer branding initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, recruitment process automation, and talent analytics implementation. Manage project timelines, resources, and cross-functional collaboration to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in talent acquisition, recruitment operations, or a similar role, with a focus on process optimization and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes, tools, and technologies, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing platforms preferably workday.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with a track record of leveraging metrics to drive operational improvements.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with overall talent acquisition goals.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance best practices.
  • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and vendor performance evaluation.
  • Project management expertise, including the ability to lead complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Innovative and forward-thinking mindset, with a focus on leveraging technology and industry trends to drive recruitment excellence.
