Sales Agent - German-Speaking (Outbound Sales / SDR)

The German Sales Agent will be a key driver of business growth by initiating contact, qualifying leads, and executing outbound telemarketing campaigns primarily aimed at customer reactivation within the German market. This role demands native or near-native fluency in German, a proven track record in sales, and exceptional cultural awareness to represent the brand effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound telemarketing calls to a provided lead list, specifically targeting former customers for reactivation and "win-back".
  • Employ strong communication and an empathetic approach to effectively handle customer objections and secure net conversions.
  • Identify and qualify new prospects, preparing and scheduling next steps (e.g., deeper discovery calls) for Account Executives as required.
  • Accurately document all sales activities, customer interactions, and lead status in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Strictly adhere to all local German telemarketing compliance laws and contribute insights to optimize outbound strategy and improve contact rates.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the company's products and services to articulate value propositions clearly to German-speaking prospects.

Qualifications

  • Language Fluency

    • German: Native or near-native fluency (B2+, C1/C2 level) is mandatory for both written and spoken communication, demonstrating high confidence in work settings.
    • English: Professional working proficiency is typically required for internal communication, training, and working with international teams.
  • Experience

    • Proven prior experience in outbound sales/telemarketing is mandatory.
    • Experience in direct seller support, e-commerce, booking, or technical support is considered relevant and a strong advantage for the profile.
  • Skills & Attributes

    • Exceptional communication and active listening skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
    • A high degree of cultural fit for the German market, including adherence to professional workplace standards, language precision, and etiquette.
    • Self-motivated, persistent, and results-driven with a focus on achieving commission-based targets.
