As a Hi Tech Engineer, you serve as technical specialist to Target Team Members: providing one-on-one in-person, virtual, and remote support and education for hardware and software.
Job Responsibilities
Provide a high-level of customer service to Target Team Members on a daily basis
Rapidly resolve hardware, software, educational, and environmental incidents and requests
Provide preventative maintenance to ensure hardware and software stability
Coordinate and collaborate with partner support teams to drive issue resolution
Adhere to and advocate for Target's Information Security Policies and Best Practices
Drive continuous improvement with the development of new standards, best practices, and process improvements
Provide supervision/work direction to contract staff
About You
BE or equivalent experience
2-4 years relevant technical support experience
Proven troubleshooting ability with macOS and Windows 10
Good knowledge on mobile devices such as Android OS, iOS, iPadOS
High-level written and verbal communication skills
Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
Strong support-minded focus
Strong problem solving capabilities and analytical skills
Ability to build strong relationships with end users, understand their needs, and translate into technology solutions
Able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment; a fast learner, self-starter and highly passionate and motivated individual
