Mining Engineer Position at MAXAM

Your role will focus on HSEQS leadership, people management and leadership, operational excellence, financial management, forecasting and inventory, customer and contract management, and technical and operational improvement.
Key responsibilities include promoting a zero-harm culture, leading safety audits, managing project KPIs, implementing financial control processes, planning inventory levels, and acting as the main point of contact for clients.
We're looking for an experienced engineer with knowledge of Drill & Blast Operations, solid experience in project and team management within mining environments, strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, and a commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
To succeed, you should have a master's degree (or higher) and proficiency in English and Spanish (at least one required). Skills in project management are also essential.
