Project Engineer

We're on the lookout for a talented and driven Project Engineer ready to take on exciting challenges in the industrial sector. If you bring 7–10 years of hands-on experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects—especially within Oil & Gas, construction, or mining—this is your chance to make a real impact. You'll play a key role in leading the full lifecycle of industrial projects across Australia, from design and construction to commissioning and optimization. Your expertise will help ensure that every project meets the highest standards in cost efficiency, quality, and technical excellence.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensure engineering designs and technical specifications meet required standards and are correctly implemented.
  • Lead the development of facility equipment and layout for assigned projects.
  • Apply safety regulations and standards, including HAZOP reviews, risk analysis, and hazardous area classification.
  • Prepare P&IDs, mass balances, equipment and instrumentation datasheets, and perform basic calculations for pumps, heat exchangers, and air compressors.
  • Supervise equipment integration and pipeline design (main and auxiliary systems).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing equipment and systems.
  • Oversee equipment manufacturing and define bill of materials for procurement.
  • Manage external engineering firms involved in the project.
  • Plan and technically review project timelines and deliverables.
  • Review and prepare packing lists during the shipment process.
  • Supervise on-site equipment assembly and support the start-up phase.
  • Maintain and review technical documentation and project reports.

Required skills include:

  • Experience required: 7–10 years
  • Be available for frequent travel across the region
  • Have a strong command of English (minimum C1 level)
  • Hold a degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Chemical)
