Description of the Position

You will join our Cloud experts. As a Data Engineer GCP (F/H), you will accompany the business directions in the evaluation of the efficiency of their process and in their strategy to optimize their performance.

In your daily missions, you will be involved in:

• Developing and maintaining client use cases with Big Data / Cloud GCP tools and infrastructures. Modeling and analyzing data in the Cloud. Ensuring data security / compliance;
• Bringing your reflection on business issues through the exploitation and understanding of data. Identifying the most relevant data sources and restituting results in a concise and visual way;
• Carrying out technological surveillance to be at the forefront of cloud & Data solutions;

Your role at Talan:

• Benchmarking of solutions and advice to our clients on the technological solutions to be adopted, in line with their needs
• Realization of POC (Proof Of Concept)
• Sharing of knowledge and internal training
• Passage of certifications
• Participation in the writing of responses to calls for tenders

Qualifications

Your technical skills:

• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience on Data projects, at least one on Cloud GCP projects (Compute, Storage), or alternatively a GCP certification with the ambition to prepare for others.
• You master at least one programming language (Spark, Scala, Python, Java or R);
• You have a mastery of data modeling theories and tools,
• You master tools and frameworks of industrialization, IaC, CI/CD and/or version management,

Your strengths:

• You are passionate, rigorous, curious and attentive;
• You have a good level of English that allows you to intervene on projects of international dimension;
• You will develop your creativity and curiosity through an increased technological surveillance that will allow you to challenge the needs of your clients.
• You wish to be involved in the development of technical teams and communities around Cloud GCP and Data solutions.

The IT department of a major player in luxury has launched a technological and functional transformation program of its BI environment. The technological overhaul of its BI foundation is operated by the implementation of a new ultra-performance data platform. The move to the cloud and more specifically to Snowflake constitutes the cornerstone of this new data platform. All data feeds are developed with dbt.
