You are an experienced and highly organized project management professional, passionate about collaborating across diverse engineering and product teams to deliver innovative solutions on schedule and within budget. You thrive in dynamic environments, adept at juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders while maintaining a clear focus on project outcomes. Your background in R&D project management, particularly within complex, multidisciplinary engineering environments, enables you to anticipate challenges, proactively mitigate risks, and foster open communication across global teams. You are comfortable working with both software and hardware engineering teams, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities of each discipline. Your experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office has equipped you to bring structure and transparency to every phase of the project lifecycle. You are an excellent communicator, able to distill complex technical issues into actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Creating, maintaining, and executing detailed project plans, including milestones, deliverables, and review checkpoints for software and firmware releases.

Collaborating with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery across all stages of the NPI process.

Developing and managing risk registers, analyzing potential project risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies with engineering partners.

Establishing and tracking project budgets, including Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) costs and resource allocations, to ensure financial discipline and transparency.

Providing regular project status updates, progress reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders, ensuring visibility and proactive issue resolution.

Coordinating with other project/program managers in Operations, Software, and Product Management to align schedules, share best practices, and drive overall program success.

Documenting and reporting key milestones, such as SW/FW releases, Product Lifecycle (PLC) gates, Bill of Materials (BoM) releases, prototype availability, and technical reviews.

Facilitating effective use of project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Office) to support documentation, tracking, and team collaboration.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Hardware Manufacturing Group and broader engineering organization.

Accelerate the on-time delivery of innovative hardware and software products by ensuring coordinated execution across multidisciplinary teams.

Enhance transparency, accountability, and communication throughout the product development lifecycle, enabling data-driven decision making.

Mitigate key project risks and proactively resolve issues, minimizing disruptions and ensuring high-quality outcomes for customers.

Optimize resource allocation and project budgeting, contributing to Synopsys' operational excellence and financial performance.

Promote a culture of cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement within the Hardware Manufacturing Group and beyond.

Drive the adoption of best practices in project management, fostering innovation and scalability in New Product Introduction processes.

Proven track record in project management, particularly within R&D or engineering-led environments.

Solid understanding of both software and hardware engineering delivery processes, especially within NPI frameworks.

Hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and report on complex project budgets and resource planning.

Demonstrated ability to manage risk registers, analyze and mitigate project risks, and drive cross-functional alignment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.

Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within Europe and to the United States.
