Your expertise in bare metal firmware development and digital design (RTL) is complemented by a strong understanding of structured development, verification, and documentation processes. Designing, developing, and testing bare metal firmware for high-speed mixed-signal IP blocks, focusing on NRZ and PAM-based SerDes products.

Collaborating closely with digital and mixed-signal design teams to define specifications, implement RTL designs, and validate performance on prototype test-chips.

Executing structured firmware development, verification, and documentation processes to ensure robust and maintainable solutions.

Driving projects from initial concept to successful completion, including functional and performance testing on silicon.

Interfacing with cross-functional groups and customer support teams to resolve technical issues and deliver exceptional support.

Utilizing scripting languages (Shell/Python) to automate workflows, enhance testing efficiency, and streamline development pipelines.

Accelerating the integration of advanced IP into leading-edge SoCs, enabling faster time-to-market for Synopsys customers.

Ensuring the reliability and performance of silicon IP through rigorous testing and validation.

Driving innovation in high-speed interface technologies (SerDes), helping to shape the future of connectivity and data transfer.

Supporting global customers in deploying differentiated products with reduced risk and optimized performance.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in bare metal firmware development and silicon testing.

Proficiency in digital design (RTL), with a strong grasp of design methodologies and verification flows.

Experience executing projects end-to-end, from specification development to final performance testing.

Ability to follow structured firmware development, verification, and documentation practices.

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and customers.

Basic knowledge of SerDes standards (NRZ, PAM) and scripting experience (Shell/Python) are valuable assets.

Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
