Foam Operations Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Responsibilities:

• Directing foam plant associates.
• Implementing safety plans for Foam Fabrication Plant.
• Overseeing foam production, workflow, quality, and continuous improvements.
• Reporting relevant information to the Plant Manager.
• Addressing inquiries from department associates, Plant Manager, and internal/external foam customers.
• Leading and instructing the foam fabrication team for timely and efficient task completion.
• Managing Foam plant attendance and collaborating with Human Resources on personnel issues.
• Ensuring daily adherence to safety, quality, and machinery maintenance standards.
• Responding to emails and ADP promptly.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of furniture foam manufacturing knowledge.
• Strong experience in ADP, Excel, AS400, and Word.
• Knowledge of material work planning, processes, and procedures.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
• Effective communication skills.
• Adaptability to change.
• Analytical skills to relate information to the company's strategic plan.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• Lean Manufacturing Knowledge preferred.
