Student Assistant in Software Engineering

The Software Engineering Section at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Institute, University of Southern Denmark, is recruiting a student assistant to support and maintain a web application used to evaluate student assignments within Software Engineering education.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement user interfaces using web technologies
  • Contribute to DevOps practices, while maintaining a server for the web application
  • Fix application errors and develop new tests
  • Support educators on the usage of the application
  • Implement practices within CI/CD to evaluate coding exercises
  • Produce clear technical documentation and reports

Competences and Skills:

  • Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and MVC back-end framework (preferable Laravel)
  • CI/CD using GitLab Application

Application deadline is November 5th, 2025. The employment starts on December 16, 2026.
