In our agile team, you will develop and operate a modern platform on OpenShift for our business customers. You will be responsible for the setup, lifecycle, and reliable operation of the platform and the services running on it. You will consistently rely on automation and clear processes for stability, security, and efficiency. With your passion for container technologies and enjoyment of collaboration, you will drive our services for customers forward.

Highlights of the Position

• Setup, operation, and further development of our OpenShift or Kubernetes platform and managed services
• Ensuring high availability, scalability, and failure safety through robust architecture and automation
• Deployment in the Swisscom Private Cloud as well as in public clouds
• Close collaboration with architecture and product owner specialists in a motivated team
• Design space and further development in platform engineering

Your Skills – Professional

• Degree (University/University of Applied Sciences/Higher Education Foundation) in computer science or apprenticeship (EFZ) in computer science
• Several years of experience in platform operation and container orchestration
• Very good knowledge of OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ArgoCD, Velero, Service Mesh

Your Skills – Personal and Languages

• Enjoyment of teamwork, exchange, and collaboration with customers
• Reliable, self-reliant, and structured
• You will perform on-call duty and reside in Switzerland
• Very good German and English; other national languages are an advantage
