As part of an agile team, you will ensure the operation, engineering, and further development of security orchestration for our datacenter and cloud solutions and work on the implementation of firewall security policies. With our tools and developments, we orchestrate Swisscom network security. To this end, we integrate and operate interfaces and business logic for the datacenter and cloud platforms. We work in an agile organization and value flexibility and teamwork. Communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning are crucial for our success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operation and further development of security solutions in the area of security orchestration
• Close cooperation with various departments in an exciting and varied working environment
• Permanent optimization and smart automation of processes
• Implementation of firewall policies and exception handling

Your skills:

• Completed degree (ETH/University/FH/HF) or equivalent qualification in computer science, business informatics, or relevant professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in complex IT environments and in-depth knowledge in the field of network security (firewall, router, tools)
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python)
• Basic knowledge of database systems (e.g., mySQL, postgres)
• Secure handling of Unix operating systems (Linux)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Independent, reliable, and structured working method with high comprehension
• Very good English and German
