As a DevOps Engineer CaaS, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and further development of the Container-as-a-Service platform (e.g. Kubernetes/Rancher). You will ensure that the platform is operated in a highly available, secure, and scalable manner and provides developers with a reliable self-service for container workloads.

• Operation and automation of the CaaS platform (Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, GitOps)
• Development and maintenance of scripting and CI/CD pipelines for container workloads
• Ensuring tenant capability, network, and security isolation
• Integration of monitoring, logging, alerting (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana)
• Supporting developer teams in onboarding and troubleshooting
• Implementation of security and compliance requirements
• Performance optimization, scaling, and lifecycle management of the container platform

Your Skills

• Experience in system administration, conception, design, implementation, and operation of container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift) as well as container technologies (Docker or Podman) and their management.
• Experience in the automation of container platforms (Container as a Service)
• Profound knowledge in the cloud-native area and their automation
• Experience with orchestration on Kubernetes and otherwise
• Strong social skills in dealing with customers as well as implementation-oriented
• Eagerness for complex systems and their implementation
• High initiative
• Very good German in speech and writing
