Job Title: Cleaner

About the role: We are looking for a special kind of person - a St Vincent's kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.

Cleaners are also known as Hotel Services Assistant / Environmental Services Assistant. As a Cleaner, you will be joining our dynamic team at St Vincent's Care Mitchelton. In this role you provide services that support effective and high quality cleaning outcomes for residents and customers of the aged care home. All positions contribute to the provision of quality and sustainable health services within the ethos of the philosophy, mission, values and ethics of the St Vincent's Health Australia.

Things that work for us:

  • Available for PART TIME PERMANENT position
  • Ready to work with roster pattern Week 1 Monday and Tuesday 0700-1400 and Friday 0630-1430 Week 2 Monday 0630-1430, Friday 0630-1430 and Saturday 0730-1330
  • Experience in working with Dementia clients would be an advantage
  • Knowledge about infection control practices
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan
  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
  • Nationally Coordinated Police Clearance Certificate or NDIS Clearance
