Care Service Employee

We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent's kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do. As a Care Service Employee, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Services Haberfield. St Vincent's Care Services Haberfield (locally known as St Joan of Arc Villa) is a 50-bed facility located 6.5km from Sydney's CBD, a close-knit residential aged care facility, providing residents with compassionate care and support.

This is a permanent part-time position, and the successful candidate will have availability to work AM, PM and Night shifts.

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with residents living with dementia desirable from a person-centred approach
  • Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification essential
  • Mixed shifts
  • Ability to use computerised clinical management software such as Autumn Care
  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan
  • An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work various shifts - am, pm and night.
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within 6 months).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
