Client Services Representative / Veterinary Assistant

Berthoud Animal Hospital, part of the Suveto network of hospitals, is looking for an experienced part-time Client Services Representative / Veterinary Assistant to join our team! At Berthoud Animal Hospital, we provide quality and compassionate veterinary care to pets in the Berthoud and Loveland, CO areas. Our veterinarians provide services for dogs and cats including wellness care, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Since we established our animal hospital, it has been our mission to serve the pets of the Berthoud, CO community and ensure that they live a long, happy, and healthy life.

Approximately 24 hours per week. Pay Range is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Our Client Services Representative are responsible for delivering excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone to assist clients and their pets. They provide high quality customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients, support the doctors and support staff, and look for ways to continually improve the delivery of services to our clients to ensure that clients are treated with respect and compassion.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage the front desk by greeting clients, checking patients in/out, scheduling rechecks and signing visitors and vendors in.
• Oversee the clinic
• Manage and assist clients in the euthanasia paperwork
• Discuss payment choices with
• Process Daily Estimate Report (Out Window CSR).
• Assist with daily administrative duties such as printing schedules, pulling charts, filing, emailing medical records, distribute daily mail and purging charts in
• Maintain knowledge of extension numbers to reach employees throughout the
• Assist in emergency situations by expediting calls to triage staff

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Able to handle a fast-paced work environment
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of client service experience is preferred
• Cornerstone experience is a definite plus!
• Has basic knowledge of computers
• Able to maintain professionalism and provide top of the line customer service
• Has experience answering a multi-line phone system
• LOVES pets
• Is a motivated learner (the medical field is ever changing)
• Understands the importance of teamwork
