Stationary Engineer

The Stationary Engineer shall provide maintenance and repair of all hospital equipment; operate plant and auxiliary equipment; repair plant operation equipment; uses electric and gas welding tools and systems; operates machine shop equipment; installs new equipment and repairs existing equipment; performs repairs and maintenance on refrigeration equipment, compressors, pumps and HX units; and operates pick-up truck for transporting equipment and supplies to campuses.

Job Accountabilities:

• Maintenance of all hospital equipment.
• Operation of plant and auxiliary equipment.
• Repair of plant operation equipment.
• Use of welding tools, electrical or gas.
• Use of machine shop equipment.
• Installation of new equipment and repair of existing equipment.
• Repair and maintenance of refrigeration equipment.
• Repair and maintenance of compressors, pumps, and HX units.

Education:

HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.

Certification & Licensure:

EPA CFC Universal Certification within 90 days

DL-Valid Drivers License Class C or B

Preferred Experience:

Actual job experience in journeyman standing.

Pay Range is $69.38 to $69.38 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
