Sutter Health is excited to offer a limited term position for 26 weeks. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients entering the medical facility. It is intended for use by positions employed by an outpatient facility. Responsibilities include greeting and checking-in patients, verifying information, scheduling appointments, and updating Electronic Health Record (EHR). The role also involves facilitating intake procedures such as completing healthcare and insurance forms and collecting payments for services. The candidate must gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent job performance and effective communication. Adherence to all organizational, local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care is required. The position may also be responsible for performing specific tasks and/or orienting other staff to the department.
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
Typical Experience: 1 year of recent relevant experience.
