HR Generalists Intern in this role get to:

Shape workplace culture: Present and model HR philosophy and policies
Be the expert: Make sure all documents are in order and properly documented
Strengthen relationships: Resolve issues timely
Keep Sutherland aligned: Process queries in adherence with company policies and procedures
Set the path to success: Assist with the planning, preparation, hosting and administration of regularly scheduled audits
Support the team: Assist in documenting personnel actions and provide information to the proper department
Improve workplace efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency

Our most successful candidates will have:

Knowledge of human resource functions, business management and strategy, workforce planning and employment, benefits, employee relations, and risk management
Ability to work in MS Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
Ability to be pro-active in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members; able to be a team-player
