The EHR Specialist is responsible for managing, implementing, and optimizing electronic health record systems to support clinical and administrative operations. This role ensures accurate data entry, system efficiency, compliance with healthcare regulations, and provides support and training to healthcare staff.
Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining the EHR system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security; supporting EHR implementation, upgrades, and system enhancements; training healthcare staff on EHR usage, workflows, and best practices; troubleshooting system issues and coordinating with IT/vendors for resolution; customizing templates, forms, and workflows based on clinical requirements; monitoring system performance and recommending improvements; ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards; generating reports and analyzing data for clinical and operational decision-making; assisting in data migration, audits, and quality assurance activities; and collaborating with clinicians, administrators, and IT teams.
Required qualifications include a strong understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical documentation, proficiency in EHR platforms, basic knowledge of databases, data analysis, and reporting tools, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Shift details include IST shifts from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM and from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with shift timings varying by one hour during daylight saving time changes. On-call rotation is mandatory.
Work location is remote (India-based) supporting US healthcare clients, and employment type is full-time.
