Junior Hardware Validation Engineer

Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia, a global leader who's been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for a Junior Hardware Validation Engineer to support our client's team based out of Santa Clara, CA.

This is a full-time (W-2) contract role. We offer competitive pay $90/hr - $110/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!

What will you be doing:

• Execute system level test plans on GPUs through an automated test farm infrastructure and assist in any initial triage of failures.
• Set up and operate lab equipment like scopes, thermal solutions, debugger systems, data acquisition systems as needed for testing and debug.
• Work with multiple SW tools involved in automation to identify and fix any infrastructure or script issues.
• Independently handle a group of systems in the test farm to ensure uninterrupted operation, assist in debug of basic PCB or chip issues, document observations and report results to engineers.
• Work closely and actively with engineers and technicians to collect required data on the test systems to solve silicon bring-up problems.

What we need to see:

• 1-2 years of relevant industry experience (or equivalent experience).
• Good understanding of PC systems, PC components and network connections.
• Basic knowledge on scripting and coding is required.
• Experience with handling lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).
• Prior work on CPU or GPU processors would be a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
