This is a full-time (Monday - Friday) position that is located at our headquarters office in Columbus, Ohio. The Bilingual Online Support Specialist will handle a high volume of outbound calls to potential job seekers and respond to incoming customer inquiries through appropriate channels. This role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our services and providing clear, professional assistance to employees and customers. A successful Online Support Specialist will demonstrate strong communication skills, effective time management, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Primary Function:

  • Conduct a high volume of outbound calls each day to prospective job seekers, identifying their career interests, answering questions, and connecting them with the appropriate Surge branch office.
  • Respond promptly to customer and employee queries via phone, email, live chat, video, and social media channels.
  • Provide real-time translation and interpretation support for customer and employee calls and messages as needed.
  • Translate internal and external documents to support communication across teams and with customers.
  • Escalate serious complaints or issues immediately to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Identify recurring issues and share potential solutions or process improvements with management.
  • Maintain a professional, polite, and helpful demeanor at all times.
  • Collect and share customer feedback with colleagues and departments to support continuous improvement of services.
  • Protect and respect client and employee confidentiality at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the company.

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience in customer service is preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English and Spanish
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience using chat/help desk software
  • The ability to respond appropriately under pressure
  • Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a positive attitude and remain professional at all times
