Surestaff is immediately hiring an Aerospace Engineer Inspector for a client in Arlington, TX. The Aerospace Engineer Inspector will be working with architects, designs, tests, qualifies and documents new and revised electrical systems/subsystems including related analog, digital, power supply, electrical isolation and high voltage circuitry. The Aerospace Engineer Inspector works closely with other electrical, mechanical and software engineers to design, develop, and support complete systems and subsystems.

Available shifts include: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities of the Aerospace Engineer Inspector:

• Perform detailed first article, in-process, and final inspections on aerospace parts and assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, industry and customer specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and various tools used for quality inspection.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain traceability of parts and materials.
• Identify nonconforming parts and materials.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other aerospace quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following all safety and quality protocols.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of aerospace inspection or quality assurance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience using measuring tools and inspection tools.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawing, parts list, and other supporting documents to the building of the part or assembly.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
