Geotechnical Engineer – Amaravati Project
Location - Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
Position Purpose:
To lead and manage geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design support for urban infrastructure projects, ensuring technically sound, safe, and cost-effective solutions in compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and review geotechnical investigations including boreholes, field testing, and laboratory testing.
- Interpret soil and rock data and prepare detailed geotechnical investigation reports.
- Carry out design and review of shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, embankments, slopes, and ground improvement works.
- Provide technical inputs during design development and construction stages.
- Review contractor submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant codes.
- Identify geotechnical risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with structural, utility, transportation, and other multidisciplinary teams for integrated project delivery.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in urban infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical design standards and analysis software.
