We are looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer - Highway for a Roads and Highways project based in Kuchlak, Balochistan, Pakistan. The candidate must have experience in supervising highway projects, particularly in similar projects, to ensure quality standards and timely execution.
Assist the Resident Engineer in managing and supervising road works.
Ensure quality execution and timely completion of the project.
Perform duties and maintain compliance with project specifications.
Monitor performance and ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Prepare and review progress reports, quality control documentation, and ensure proper record-keeping.
Coordinate with stakeholders and local authorities for smooth project execution.
Identify and resolve technical issues on-site, providing solutions to maintain project timelines and quality.
With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
Tertiary qualifications Bachelors in Civil Engineering, preferably Masters in Highway or Transportation Engineering.
Minimum 12 years of overall professional experience, including at least 8 years of relevant experience supervising Highways projects in the role of Assistant Resident Engineer.
Good knowledge of highway construction standards and quality control procedures.
Additional relevant trainings/certifications will be an advantage.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
