Detailer Position

Super Star Car Wash is a leader in providing car wash, detail, and lubrication services to customers in Arizona, California, Texas, and Colorado. Our mission is to provide fast, high quality, professional service in a friendly atmosphere, along with a smile while creating a reward team member environment.

The Detailer has overall responsibility for making a car looks its best and is someone who takes pride in performing an exceptional job. Must have an eye for detail. An individual is required to multi-task and adjust to the workings of a transitional weather environment. This is a great position to start if you are instead with learning about products and the car wash industry. Not to mention the opportunity to grow within the company.

Essential duties/tasks/responsibilities:

• Detail the interior and exterior of vehicles
• Apply polishes, conditioners, waxes and/or masking materials to preserve, protect, and restore vehicle's interior and exterior.
• Clean and vacuum vehicle's interior carpets to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Exceed customer expectations by being friendly to customers and handling vehicles with extreme care.
• Pull and lift equipment and hoses.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous car wash or detail experience
• High School Diploma or GED

Requires the ability to interact with others, interpret spoken messages and utilize reason to resolve problems. Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking, and frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, kneeling, being mobile on uneven surfaces, squeezing and crouching. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of 1-25 pounds (occasional up to 50#).
