Founded in 2014, and listed on the ASX since 2015, Superloop's purpose is to enable better internet for Australian homes and businesses, by enabling challenger retail brands to take a larger share of the market, leveraging Superloop's Infrastructure-on-Demand platform.
Superloop operates in three segments of the market: consumer connectivity, business network and security solutions, and wholesale connectivity, all of which leverage Superloop's investments in physical infrastructure assets including fibre, subsea cables and fixed wireless, as well as Superloop's software platforms. Hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses rely on Superloop every day for their connectivity needs.
The Information Technology Group (ITG), part of the Operations Business Unit, is responsible for managing all core internal infrastructure from server operating systems down, including identity services, Microsoft 365, and AWS architecture.
The team manages all aspects of the Internal IT infrastructure, including the design, build, and operation of highly available virtual environments across global locations.
You will be joining at a pivotal time, contributing directly to the delivery of Superloop's new three-year IT strategy.
Reporting to the Infrastructure Team Lead, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and operational support of the organisation's core infrastructure across on-premise hypervisors, server operating systems, O365 and AWS environments. This role requires deep expertise in Linux server administration and strong proficiency in Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), ensuring secure and reliable identity management across the enterprise.
As a senior technical resource, you will develop and support for the organisation's virtualisation platforms, AWS services, and Linux-based server fleet, while driving continuous improvement in resilience, performance, and security. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will also act as the final escalation point for the Desktop Support team, providing guidance and resolution for complex issues that cross infrastructure, identity, and endpoint domains.
