The Enterprise Systems Engineer uses their broad knowledge across Linux, scripting and virtualisation to develop, maintain and support Superloop enterprise systems. While the demands of the engineer often require them to work autonomously, they are expert collaborators. Collaborating with department teams of network engineers, software and application developers, security, IT, project managers and project stakeholders. They rarely work with external customers or end-users but keep a "customer first" mindset to satisfy the needs of their internal clients.

Qualifications and Experience:
You find yourself at home on a Linux command line.
Sound knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
High level of scripting knowledge - Python, Powershell, PHP, BASH etc.
Understanding of virtualisation and hypervisors (especially AWS, Proxmox, VMWare and KVM platforms).
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, etc.).
Understanding of operating and troubleshoot firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, pfsense) and security policies.
Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with Azure and Microsoft servers.
Understanding of operating systems and systems administration (Linux , Microsoft, OSX).
Experience with manage enterprise networks, including routing, switching, VPNs, and segmentation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Strong organisational skills and highly motivated.
Experience with container and container orchestration advantageous.
Experience with monitoring systems, log aggregation and graphing tools advantageous.
Experience with networking advantageous.
