✨ About The Role
- The role involves supporting ongoing Elixir projects at Supabase, including managing broadcasting database updates to connected clients
- Building out custom observability infrastructure to support daily operations of thousands of Postgres databases
- Developing high throughput and robust data pipelines
- Creating programmatic interfaces (REST, gRPC, or other messaging protocols) for managing Postgres
- Working on the next iteration of Realtime at Supabase, which includes Multiplayer functionality like Presence and Broadcasts
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced Elixir or Erlang developer with a track record of building and scaling large multi-node systems
- Proficient in string and binary parsing, with a preference for such experience
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively on projects, setting your own pace
- Strong understanding of the Erlang VM and backend functionality
- Comfortable supporting ongoing Elixir projects and developers, as well as building custom observability infrastructure and data pipelines
