Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue purchase orders for parts, supplies, and outside repair services.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors, including OEM and third-party service providers, to secure quality products and services at competitive pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and determine material requirements; order stock and non-stock items as needed.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory; stock items in an organized and accessible manner.
- Process and fulfill parts requisitions for internal customers.
- Review requisitions and purchase orders for accuracy, specifications, and proper documentation.
- Track and manage order status; respond to internal and external inquiries regarding orders, changes, or cancellations.
- Expedite deliveries and resolve issues related to shortages, delays, or discrepancies.
- Coordinate outside repair services, including obtaining quotes, tracking turnaround times, and ensuring accurate system entry for pricing and delivery.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Engineering, and Technicians to support operational priorities and resolve issues.
- Verify inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all transactions (inventory and one-time buys) are properly classified and recorded.
- Maintain accurate data within purchasing, inventory, and work order systems.
- Support changing priorities and delivery requirements to meet business needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Basic understanding of inventory control and purchasing processes

- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain preferred
- Ability to lift and handle materials (no lifting restrictions)
