Service Advisor - Sunset Kia of Venice

Professional, experienced Service Advisor needed to join our elite team at Sunset Kia of Venice, a proud member of Sunset Automotive Group's family of dealerships with 10 brands at 11 locations in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers required. Reynolds & Reynolds and x-time experience very helpful.

Automotive Service Advisor Duties

Service Advisors are the faces of our dealership service departments to our valued clients. It is vital for a person in this position to have great communication skills as well as solid automotive knowledge in order to adequately relay service needs between our clients and our service team. As a service advisor, you will be doing the following:

• As the point of contact for automotive service customers, show outstanding customer service.
• Use active listening to engage and understand the customer's vehicle issues and concerns.
• Create repair order and communicate vehicle needs clearly to service technician.
• Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customer. Advise and sell needed work.
• Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process, keeping customer updated.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times.

Automotive Service Advisor Requirements

Service Advisors with Sunset Automotive Group are required to hold to our company values of honesty, integrity, and outstanding customer service. Other Service Advisor requirements include:

• Must have outstanding customer service, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Strong automotive knowledge and experience required. Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds and x-time preferred.
• Successful candidate must have a valid Driver's License.
