Structural Design Engineer I

Sunflower, a generation and transmission utility serving central and western Kansas, is currently looking to expand our transmission engineering department with a Structural Design Engineer I in Great Bend, KS or Hays, KS. We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual to support the design, planning, and installation of cutting-edge electrical transmission line and substation structures. In this role, you'll be part of a passionate engineering team responsible for bringing complex, high-voltage projects to life—from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
