Your Responsibilities

Independently calculating salaries, wages, bonuses, commissions, and overtime based on working hours or contractual agreements

Correct application of all legal and internal company deductions, e.g., taxes, social insurance, and pension contributions

Calculating and processing the final remuneration of departing employees (including severance, remaining vacation, etc.)

Processing of monetary benefits, especially in the context of company car taxation

Travel expenses accounting considering tax frameworks

Application of current tax law in the area of payroll accounting

Preparation and timely submission of payroll-related reports and notifications (monthly, quarterly, annually) to authorities

Management and maintenance of payroll accounting and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, ADP, DATEV) for the correct representation and tracking of personnel and salary data

Creation and review of payroll statements including all deductions and allowances

Matching of payroll-related accounts, identification, and correction of inconsistencies

Support of employee benefits including social insurance and pension systems

Secure handling of sensitive employee and salary data and their confidential treatment

What You Bring With You

Completed training in human resources, business, or a comparable qualification

Several years of experience in payroll accounting or a similar position

In-depth knowledge of relevant tax and social insurance legal provisions

Very good knowledge of payroll accounting software (e.g., SAP, ADP, DATEV) and ERP systems

High accuracy and attention to detail in the processing of payroll statements

Good organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

Team skills and strong interpersonal abilities

Good English skills, both verbally and in writing
