Social Media Marketing Manager

We are in search of a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Manager to help manage our web, social, and content initiatives across the Walrus Foundation's Global Marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage marketing projects from conception to completion, working with various stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain project and editorial schedules and track progress to ensure timely delivery of all campaign elements.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting notes, and other documentation as needed.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and events.
- Execute social media campaigns and ensure cohesive messaging across platforms.
- Write and edit compelling social copy tailored to various channels and audiences.
- Coordinate and manage social content and promotional campaigns for partner launches and product launches.
- Own the organization, scheduling, and execution of Walrus-hosted X Spaces.
- Support leadership's social media accounts, including writing, engagement, and content strategy.
- Build and scale the Walrus YouTube channel by developing a content roadmap and managing uploads, as well as optimizing content for maximum reach.
- Explore, evaluate, and manage the brand's entry and presence on new social platforms.
- Coordinate with regional marketing and paid social teams to ensure alignment and support during key campaigns and launches.
- Assist in organizing and executing marketing events, such as conferences, on-the-ground activations, and sponsorships.
- Help coordinate logistics and design needs.
- Support the execution of email marketing campaigns, including list management, content creation, and performance analysis.
- Identify and act on opportunities for content creation across digital channels.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, DevRel, Education, Growth, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, and more, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining the editorial calendar.
Qualifications:
- 4 – 7 years proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management tools, email marketing software, and content management systems.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, including copywriting, SEO, PPC, and analytics.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
