Content Marketer

Suger is a revenue platform that helps our customers grow on the fastest-growing B2B sales channel: the cloud marketplaces of AWS, Azure, GCP, and Alibaba. Launched in 2022, we take the tech debt out of marketplace sales by providing an API-first approach to quote-to-cash and billing processes. We're working with over 200 B2B customers, ranging from large enterprises like Snowflake and Intel to fast-growing startups like Glean and Vanta.

We are seeking a hands-on storyteller to be Suger's first content marketing hire. You'll work directly with our Head of Marketing and leadership to craft and execute a content strategy that spans multiple formats and channels—bringing our thought leadership to life, scaling our content engine, and delivering measurable results. You treat writing like a craft, with the ability to turn abstract concepts into clear, compelling narratives. You have a bias toward action, sweat the details, and think big. Your work will grow inbound traffic, strengthen our brand as the Cloud GTM category leader, and empower our GTM teams to win.

We are a Series A startup, funded by top-tier investors, including Threshold VC, Craft Ventures, Intel Capital, and Y Combinator.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with leaders, partners, and customers to craft stories that showcase Suger's mission and value.
  • Own and execute our content strategy across core formats (video, blogs, social, case studies, playbooks, guides, reports) and new experiments.
  • Publish and promote content across our owned channels, partner channels, and industry outlets.
  • Ensure every asset is useful, clear, accurate, and consistent with our brand voice.
  • Drive measurable growth in brand awareness, inbound traffic, content-driven leads, and pipeline impact.
  • Establish the processes, workflows, and editorial calendar that future marketing hires will build on.
  • Manage a network of freelance writers, designers, and video editors to scale content production.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in content marketing (B2B SaaS or cloud marketplace preferred).
  • Strong written and multi-media portfolio across multiple formats and channels.
  • Proficient with AI writing, design, and video tools (Jasper, Figma, Canva, Descript, Veed, DaVinci).
  • Familiar with AEO/SEO and workflow automation tools (Surfer SEO, SEMRush, AirOps).
  • Experience managing freelance writers, designers, and video editors to scale output.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and systematic—producing high-quality work and building repeatable workflows that scale.
