The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Are you passionate in operating infrastructure at scale? Do you like working with Kubernetes clusters and microservices? Here is an exciting opportunity for you!

Our team provides Kubernetes platform-as-a-service to other teams who are building microservices at Salesforce. Over the next year we'll be expanding our Kubernetes footprint by 1000s of clusters. And you could be an instrumental piece in this transformation. As part of your job you will be working on open source technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo and Spinnaker and will have the chance to contribute back and shape the future of these technologies.

We run one of the largest Kubernetes fleets in the industry and have been early adopters of the technology. Our mission is to empower service owners to focus on the unique value of their service, without having to focus on infrastructure, increasing developer agility and decreasing operational costs and complexity. The FKP team is pivotal to the success of the company with the overall strategy of the company to move to Hyperforce powered by FKP providing underlying infrastructure. We manage the platform that underlies Sales, Service, Commerce, Mulesoft and Tableau.

Responsibilities:

As an FKP (Falcon Kubernetes Platform) engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing the software for managing Kubernetes clusters at scale. You will be creating design documents, presenting to an audience, and then implementing your designs. A large part of you job will also include evaluating and integrating open source technologies into the FKP software stack.

Programming Languages:

  • Golang
  • Python
  • Bash (basic shell scripting knowledge required; familiarity expected)

Technologies:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS services, particularly IAM and cloud networking
  • Familiarity with Terraform
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Argo, or Spinnaker
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Elasticsearch, or Argus

General Skills:

  • Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Unleash Your Potential:

When you join Salesforce, you'll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best. Together, we'll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what's possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.
