As a Software Engineer in Salesforce BT, you will be part of a software engineering team that delivers customer success. You will work with a team of software engineers, product managers, and architects responsible for feature development and application maintenance responsive to the needs of a highly sophisticated and global customer success organization.

You will help to ensure every line of code we push to production is of the highest quality. This includes taking part in the design, planning, and enhancement of automation frameworks, utilities and tools. You should deliver solutions others can understand, support, maintain and expand, and provide other team members with direction on development projects. You are aware of trends and technical developments in the industry, and how those can be applied in your work; and have a point of view on the delivery approach for very complex or foundational features. You have the demonstrated ability to anticipate technology lifecycle issues, work with projects involving multiple systems, and influence the team to deliver durable, extensible solutions.

This role requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team's portfolio.

  • Advanced experience in Go, with hands-on knowledge of go-chi for routing and gomega for testing
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience building scalable, maintainable systems.
  • Proficiency with Heroku and its ecosystem of add-ons such as Heroku Connect, NGINX, and Redis is essential.
  • Comfortable working with Docker, including building and managing Dockerfiles and Docker Compose YAML configurations.
  • A deep understanding of Postgres and SQL is required.
  • Additionally, candidates must have solid experience with the Salesforce platform, including Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and building performant REST APIs.
  • Build applications on or with the Salesforce platform. Familiarity with Experience Cloud is a strong plus, and prior experience working within Agentforce is highly desirable.
  • Integrate Salesforce with 3rd party applications
  • Participate in product and feature design with product team and business partners
  • Design applications based on common design patterns and best practice algorithms
  • Plan, design, and enhance automation framework, utilities and tools
  • Participate in and contribute to code reviews
  • Work with engineers, business analysts and product owners for product delivery
  • Ensure product quality meets customer expectations

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience programming (Go, Python, Java, C++, C#)
  • Experience building large scale distributed systems, especially in cloud environments
  • Experience with public cloud services (AWS or Heroku or Azure)
  • A related technical degree required
