Job Description

• Identifying and actively implementing cost reduction potentials in the entire value creation process, from the idea to the series business
• Supporting and accompanying the specialist departments (including project management, engineering, purchasing, production) in the product development process for cost-optimal design of purchase and production parts
• Conducting cost analyses and estimates for customer projects in the automotive sector
• Developing target cost calculations
• Building and further developing calculation standards
• Leading and accompanying cost-down projects in cooperation with external suppliers
• Contributing to the development of the organization with regard to cost awareness

Qualifications

• Completed technical or business administration degree with a technical background with appropriate further education in this field
• Comprehensive professional experience in the described task and technical knowledge in relation to manufacturing techniques and their costs
• Experience in conducting cost reduction projects
• Fluent German and English
• Outstanding communication skills at all levels
