Job Description

• Identify and actively implement cost-saving potentials throughout the entire value creation process, from the idea to the serial business
• Support and accompany the specialist departments (including project management, engineering, purchasing, production) in the product development process for cost-optimal design of purchased and production parts
• Conduct cost analyses and estimates for customer projects in the automotive sector
• Develop target cost calculations
• Build and further develop calculation standards
• Lead and accompany cost-down projects in collaboration with external suppliers
• Contribute to the further development of the organization with regard to cost awareness

Qualifications

• Completed technical or business administration degree with a technical background with appropriate further education in this area
• Extensive professional experience in the described task and technical knowledge in relation to manufacturing techniques and their costs
• Experience in conducting cost reduction projects
• Fluent German and English
• Outstanding communication skills at all levels
