Sales Representative For Orthopaedic Instruments

Work flexibility: Field-based

Responsibilities:

  • Management of sales activities of our product portfolio orthopaedic instruments.
  • Operational and strategic management of your sales territory in the region of Baden-Württemberg Süd (PLZ 7* and 8*: Tübingen, Tuttlingen, Konstanz, Singen, Allgäu, Kempten, Ulm, Ravensburg, Augsburg, Lindau).
  • Targeted new customer acquisition and customer care of the surgical departments in hospitals around the use of our innovative machine systems.
  • Implementation of targeted sales and marketing strategies and negotiation with chief physicians, hospital administrations, medical technicians, and purchasing departments.
  • Consultation and training of medical and nursing staff on the use of products in the operating room as well as in the context of workshops and test installations.
  • Development of demand-oriented customer orders and creation of financing plans.
  • Participation in trade fairs, congresses, and business meetings to identify potential new customers and expand your customer contacts.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of sales experience, either in medical technology, financial services, automotive industry, or other related fields.
  • Passion for selling a complex product portfolio.
  • Experience in building long-term customer relationships and generating new business.
  • Communication skills, creativity, open and friendly manner.
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking, solution orientation, excellent organizational skills.
  • Valid class B driver's license.
  • Fluent German and good English skills.
  • Preferred: Completed studies in medical technology, civil engineering, or health management.
  • First sales experience of capital goods as well as knowledge of project business.
  • Industry knowledge in medical technology, e.g., as an operating room technician or comparable activities within the industry.

Additional information:

  • Travel activity with your company car in the sales area can be up to 80% including occasional external overnight stays.
  • Depending on the planning of your working week, you will spend the rest of the time in the home office.
