Marketing Manager Hip Or Knee Products

Basic purpose of role/Why the job exists: This main role will be to manage hip or knee products by preparing and executing marketing plans in relation to the launch and the promotion of the assigned product lines within the designated territory. As a member of field marketing, it is also vital to deliver marketing messages to customers and sales force Conducts market research; generates product requirements, develops marketing materials, plans promotional activities, monitors trend and improves market intelligence. Maintains contact with customers to follow up promotion efforts and cooperates closely with direct/indirect channels.

Key areas of accountability:

  • Prepare marketing plans for specified aspects/components of Stryker products, focusing on appropriate target audiences.
  • Ensure field staff receive appropriate training to achieve effective delivery of key selling messages
  • Establish relationship with the US/APAC Marketing Department and prepare reports on request and forward any territory information regarding Stryker products in the most appropriate way
  • Cooperate closely with Logistics department for quarterly safety stock review
  • Organize & perform workshops, deliver presentations and demonstrations
  • Supporting sales team to improve technical knowledge about the product
  • Budgetary management for all marketing activities initiated
  • Attract and retain quality employees with the best skills and qualifications to ensure that the Stryker standards and values are met and exceeded
  • Continuous development of relevant skills and knowledge
  • Support development and implementation of the company quality system
  • Lead the team efficiently to optimize outcomes consistent with the code of conduct
  • Closely work with RA/QA officers for registration documentations
  • Obtain market intelligence on local product development and competitor activities
  • Contribute to the identification of KOLs and lead communication with them
  • Support the sales force by attending demonstrations and KOL visits
  • Cooperate closely with Logistics department for quarterly safety stock review

Education/ Experience

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Excellent speaking and writing skill of Japanese and business English
  • Experienced in using office software and databases
  • Min 3 years' experience in product management/marketing within medical industry
  • Experience showing impact on sales and successful market penetration
