Our offer to you:

  • You will dive deep into the world of medical technology and support our engineers in manufacturing engineering with the integration of advanced laser marking processes into production.
  • You will be involved in the care and optimization of production through the implementation of unique device identification (UDI) requirements from the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) for internal instrument manufacturing and corresponding subcontractors.
  • You will independently conduct process analyses and define process flows using lean methods for continuous improvement (KVP).
  • You will be responsible for product and process change requests as well as corrective measures and work closely with our development and process-oriented engineering teams and manufacturing.

You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to an international medical technology company with your practical solutions.

  • Alternatively, there is also the option to write a thesis in this area.

What makes you stand out:

  • You are studying engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering, medical technology, production engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field.
  • Your strong analytical skills and your structured, independent, and precise working style enable you to succeed in our dynamic team.
  • Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in the field of production technology.
  • Your confident use of MS Office, Sharepoint, Powerapps, and Power Automate, along with your very good German and good English skills in speech and writing, allow for smooth communication in our international environment.

Duration of your internship: 6 months (full-time)

Type of your internship: We offer voluntary study-related internships and mandatory internships/practical semesters as well as a combination of both.

Your start with us: September or October 2026

Your workplace: Schönkirchen near Kiel

What awaits you:

Fair pay, vacation, exciting training, personal mentoring, and flexible working hours.

Diversity is important to us. We look forward to applications from people regardless of their ethnic, national, or social background, gender, disability, age, or sexual identity.
