Machine Operator III
Work Flexibility: Onsite
Schedule: Thursday & Friday, (7:00am – 3:00pm), Saturday & Sunday (7:00am– 7:00pm), OT as needed
What you will do:
As a Machine Operator III in our Needle Punch Department, this role involves operating machinery, performing inspections, assisting with maintenance, and working at elevated heights within a fast-paced production environment.
- Under general supervision, operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate production records and maintenance logs
- Assist maintenance teams in troubleshooting, and repairing machinery issues
- Adhere to site specific quality systems and processes
- Identify and accurately record scrap, maintenance requests, and production documents
- Operate simple manufacturing equipment, demonstrate machining/mechanical aptitude, and learn new responsibilities and tasks as needed
- Train others in operational and/or documentation procedures as needed
- Identify and appropriately report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors.
- Effectively collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker
What you need:
- Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ Years of relevant experience
- Ability to climb up 10 feet off the ground.
- Preferred:
- 2+ years of mechanical experience
- Ability to exert up to 50-75 occasionally
