Sales Representative

Work Flexibility: Field-based

Essential duties & responsibilities:

  1. Implement sales activities to achieve budgeted sales and profitability goal for the assigned area / territory.
  2. Support Regional Sales Business Manager to promote products to individual doctors & hospitals in assigned region.
  3. Reach out to identify new business opportunities by means of tender & government businesses.
  4. Ensure efficient use of company's demo units in the territory.
  5. Collaborate & cooperate with RSM / RBM as & when required.
  6. Retain key accounts & explore new accounts/business opportunities to build Strykers' customer pool
  7. Identify, develop & manage different channels of business (distributors & direct sales) in the area.
  8. Provide solutions to customers to meet their specifications on the basis of techno commercial discussions
  9. Upgrade existing customers to newer technologies.

Experience:

  • At least 4-6 years' sales experience in healthcare, preferred
  • Proven record in sales management, channel management and key account management
  • An understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information.

  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Seeks out the hard projects and work to find just the right solutions.
  • Relationship-savvy people who intentionally make connections with both internal partners and external contacts. Consistently prioritizes the right opportunities for Stryker and shows ability to construct the best customer pricing proposal. Collaborate and work efficiently with marketing team
  • Persistent salespeople who will stop at nothing to live out Stryker's mission to make healthcare better.
  • Representatives with an unparallel work ethic and customer-focused attitude who bring value to their performance objectives.
  • Closes profitable business and consistently exceed their performance objectives.
  • Able to build and execute basic business plan
  • Able to coach more junior sales reps
