Team Leader Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Kiryat Gat, IL, IL

As a member of Ops. Engineering, in your role as Manufacturing Engineering TL you will be responsible for production line engineering of one or more Stratasys systems.

The position is located in Stratasys' Kiryat Gat site, IL.

As part of this role you will:

• Manage a team of 3 engineers
• Build engineering workplans based on clear KPI's
• Provide engineering support at system level for multidisciplinary products
• Define machines integration process, improvements and maintenance
• Control products' ECO processes and implementation
• Implement new product revisions and escort new developed products to the production floor
• Monitor, interact, report and provide support to the production line
• Analyze quality issues and manage remedial activities to enable production line continuity
• Lead 2nd source and cost saving activities from engineering aspects
• Manage sub-contractors for assembly lines and mechanical/ electromechanical parts manufacturing
• Control TK activities for system building/subunits local and overseas
• Be responsible for timelines and deliverables in order to meet product's goals in aspect of DFX objectives
• Coordinate and participates with local CPE and NPI teams on design for production activities
• Support the Production line on an on-going basis including escalations management
• Responsible for editing Production file, Production documentation, BOM's, jigs and tools design
• Generate/gather necessary documentation for new products production

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

• BSc degree in Electronics / Mechanics engineering - mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in manufacturing / production environment
• Minimum of 3 years of proven engineering management experience
• Engineering experience in integrating complex systems – an advantage
• Clear thinker: Simplifying strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information and communicating priorities clearly and concisely
• Ability to present technical information and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
• Strong ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships on a multi-level basis
• Strong written and verbal English language communications skills.
• Experience with Solid Works
• Experience with PDM / PLM tools – Agile an advantage
