The Stratasys Summer Internship Program is a 12-week paid experience from May to August that lets you make an impact from day one. As an intern, you'll gain hands-on experience on real, high-impact projects—contributing to key initiatives or even leading your own, depending on your skills and initiative.

The Product Technical Services internship offers an exciting opportunity to jump-start your career at Stratasys! This hands-on role will immerse you in various areas of additive manufacturing, where you'll gain valuable experience working with cutting-edge technologies. You'll develop skills in solid modeling, Insight, GrabCAD Print, Catalyst, Objet Studio, and project management. You'll also get hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting FDM and PolyJet systems, working with advanced equipment and learning how to solve complex challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Learn to operate all product models and knowledge of all materials used
  • Assist in performing routine maintenance on all platforms of FDM, PolyJet, SAF, SL, P3
  • Support end customer questions in operation of all products (FDM, PolyJet, SAF, SL, P3)
  • Help troubleshoot and repair 3D printers
  • Shadow field engineers during onsite technical repair and maintenance work
  • The opportunity to design and print your own 3D files!

Must have for this role:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Must have completed at least two years of college (entering Junior or Senior year by Spring 2026)
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software applications and/or experience in rapid prototyping is highly preferred
  • Ability to independently organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues while maintaining positive relationships with sales teams, customers, and colleagues
  • Creative, with a strong desire to deepen your understanding of rapid prototyping applications
  • Self-motivated, able to work effectively on projects with minimal supervision
  • Open to constructive feedback and capable of handling customer concerns professionally
  • Local to Minnesota or able to relocate without assistance to the Minnetonka, MN area

Nice to have:

  • 3D printing experience highly desired
  • Preferred Major(s): Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science

Travel Requirements: Between MN Stratasys office sites and local Field Service visits

Additional Information: For this position, the base salary is $21.50 per hour.
